The Microphone Active Noise Reduction (MANR)
is an innovative technique which is based on an application of digital
circuitry to filter background noise from voice signals. This is
especially important in the area of communication on the bike, where
understanding can be very affected through the wind noise.
MANR functions like this: a mixture of voice signal and wind noise
is first amplified and filtered, then digitalized. A modern signal
processor functions as Adaptive Noise Filter Module programmed to
recognize voice from noise through fast constant calculations and
to reduce the noise part as much as possible.
The result of the test drives showing the reducing of background
noise between 20 to 30 Db. After filtering is wind noise noticable
lower and also not depending on speed. That means, no matter which
speed you drive your communication stays in a very good quality.
MANR is delivered integrated in following Magic Talk intercoms:

Result of the test drive
Reducing of the wind noise is between 20 to 30 dB. After
filtering is wind noise noticable lower and also not depending on
speed. That means, no matter which speed you drive your communication
stays in a very good quality and relation between a voice and noise.
